Tell 'Em I'm Gone LP

Tell ‘Em I’m Gone is a deeply soulful album in which Yusuf / Cat Stevens explores his lifelong love of Blues and R&B music. Featuring incredible guest musicians such as Richard Thompson and Tinariwen, and produced with the legendary Rick Ruben, this brilliant album opens the door to a whole new aspect of Yusuf’s profound and timeless storytelling. 

Alongside its original compositions, Tell ‘Em I’m Gone showcases a number of cover versions of songs that hold special significance for Yusuf such as Edgar Winter’s “Dying to Live”, Luther Dixon’s “Big Boss Man”, and the bluesy reworking of Jimmie Davies’ “You Are My Sunshine”. 

Originally released in 2014, Tell ‘Em I’m Gone is now available in a special edition custom yellow vinyl LP format with artwork designed by Yusuf and illustrated by the artist William Stout, brought to you by Dark Horse Records.
